One of the most common questions we get asked at Mid-Tenn is “How can I get my music on the radio?” Honestly, I chuckle a little to myself every time.
See it’s not that easy. It’s not really hard, but it’s not easy. Most stations have a rigorous process that involves a good word from a lot of people you and I don’t know. Others have easier submission processes. Such as at WWIR, where you join the program, send in a track and wait… if they like it, you’re as good as in.
And there are Special Oportunities like this one from Jam City America!
Bands- between now and the first of March (ya, that’s Two Weeks, guys) submit your tunes for the Jam City America Battle of the Bands. The process could not be easier. Just send it in via email to: jamcity@live.com use the subject line “Battle of the Bands” and include:
- Bio (include the text. JCA will not go dig it up to copy it from your site)
- Photos
- 2 or 3 songs in mp3 format
- contact information
- website
Entries will be carefully listened to by the panel and selected for placement in the station rotation. Other exciting opportunities await as well! We’ll keep you posted as we get more details.
Jam City America features music from all sorts of genres and artists. They are one of the fastest growing internet radio stations around. If you let this one slide, well, don’t blame me!
