Hamilton, Ontario songwriter/producer/engineer Frank Roberts is releasing his blend of instrumental rock packed full of powerful guitar melodies and tasty harmonies in which Satriani, Malmsteen, or Dream Theater would be glad to partake.
Although I only have access to short samples of a few songs, it is evident that Roberts has poured his passion into putting Change In Motion.
The full album will be available on December 4th from your traditional online outlets: his website, iTunes, CD Baby, etc.
Roberts purchased his first guitar at age 14. He was soon introduced to Fred Mercier who took Roberts under his wing. This was the beginning of a life long musical friendship.
For a period of time, they played together in Mercier’s band Marilyn White. Although the band parted ways, the experience helped Roberts unleash his burning passion to create music.
Throughout the years Frank practiced, wrote, recorded, studied engineering and production, and eventually began producing demos for other bands and songwriters. He then got back to work on his own craft around 2007.
Roberts is about to unleash Change In Motion. The album was engineered, produced, and mixed by Roberts and will be released under Wildfrog Music.
