‘Anxious Zen’ is an ode a lady (or any lady really) who is unable to get out of her own medicated head or even her own way for that matter, but still crosses my own head,and heart, at times when I least expect it. It’s someone I care for but will never be able to have a solid relationship with because she battles her own demons.”
This is a potent, catchy, memorable, radio-worthy single. The guitar solo and the bridge breakdown are really just the tasty icing on this sonic layer cake.
