Washington DC based Americana singer/songwriter and world traveler Eli Lev has released a new single, Go Down, with visual accompaniment now on YouTube.
Delivering a smooth blend of Americana vibes, funky undertones and a rockin’ edge, Go Down is an infectious track that Eli wrote about a series of baptisms he witnessed along the Jordan River.
In fact, music and traveling go hand in hand for Eli. As he states,
When I’ve been on the road and can’t speak the language, I’ve always been able to play a song and suddenly everyone’s singing and dancing. There’s a connection there, and, in that instant, there is a community.”
With appearances at major events including Burning Man in Nevada, Music on the Mall Festival in D.C., Kennedy Center Millennium Stage during the METRO Performs Series and a personal invitation from DC Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton to perform at the US Capitol building, Eli has a massive amount of momentum fueling him.
Go Down barely scratches the surface of Eli’s catalog but is a potent and impacting introduction (for those hearing him for the first time).
