Savannah, Georgia based alt-country singer/songwriter Dustin Price has released refreshing, cinematic new single What Never Was off his latest EP, Sleep It Off.

With an easy to listen to voice, spirit lifting melodies, energy building arrangements, and emotion evoking textures, What Never Was is as infectious as it is mellow and relaxing.

The rawness of the recording, the organic feel of the acoustic guitar, well mixed drums, and plenty of instrumental nuance provide a very enjoyable, aurally stimulating and soulful single that is as much alt-country as it is folk-pop.

The instrumental bridges and that sweet sweet piano melody at the end are an extremely satisfying icing on this delicious, jam packed sonic layer cake.
