Where are you from and what style of music do you create? (In your own words, not necessarily in marketing terms or by popular genre classifications.)
I’m from Detroit Michigan and I would call it techno rap.
What led you down this path of music and what motivates you to stay the course?
I would probably get like really agitated and mean if I couldn’t sit down and write songs at least once a week so it just helps me get through my day without going insane. I’m not doing music so I can just get popular and rich and party all day everyday, I’m doing it so I can enjoy what i do and spread positivity wherever I go.
How is your new release different than previous ones? Did you set out to accomplish anything specific?
This release is a rap song and my last couple of songs before this one was dubstep but I deleted them off of the internet and I hope no one finds it because it’s tragic haha. I didn’t want to release in orbit first but it was finished before all the others so I just put it out anyways.
Do you face challenges as an indie musician in a digital age? How has technology helped you (assuming it helps)?
This digital age helped me because I wouldn’t be able to purchase my beats and reach out to people that I want to link up with especially.
I’m definitely using this age to my advantage.
Where can we connect with you online and discover more music?
My instagram is @Duraraii and my Soundcloud name is Durarai
Anything else before we sign off?
