Songs for Sale is a collection of 10 songs pulled from Mr. Alter’s catalog of over 100 tunes.

How did David choose the 10 (out of 100+) songs that made the album?
As a whole, it’s something of a life story document.
Surrounded by music his entire life, David could not stay away from it. His mother was a lyricist and his father a bandleader and musician. David’s father wanted more for his son’s life so he discouraged pursuing a career in music.
Some things you just can’t stop.
But, in honor of his father’s wishes, David chose a career in medicine. He is currently a highly esteemed cardiologist and an epidemiologist scientist who has published 125+ manuscripts.
He also founded Vigour Projects, an organization dedicated to applying, evaluating and promoting the benefits of music on health.
