NYC based indie rocker Chris Mardini has delivered an infectious, energetic, mood boosting, radio ready single titled Retrospective Outlook.
Recognized as an old soul due to the lyrical depth and wisdom displayed in his songwriting, Chris is riding a wave of momentum with the release of this potent new single. Best listened to at maximum volume (my opinion anyway), Retrospective Outlook stimulates the senses with powerful melodies, an easily memorable hook, and a production quality that is of the highest caliber.
Chris even displays his rapping skills at the 56 second mark when his vocals transition from impactful, passionate singing to an intense but calculated delivery of rhymes that gives this track an edge it would be lacking otherwise. Chris’ versatility has not gone unnoticed.
With the support of a team of heavy hitters behind him, directed by two time Grammy winning producer Swerksy (Hillary Duff, Joe Cocker), there is no denying Retrospective Outlook is a home run. Some of New York’s top players contributed to the project including Alan Markley (keyboards/programmer), Vin Landolfi (guitars) and Alex Agresti (drums/programmer/engineer), while Swersky earned credits for bass and percussion. Chris’ EP was mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons) and was tracked at Sound on Sound Studios in Montclair, New Jersey.
This is the part where you listen! Retrospective Outlook is on Spotify and Apple Music.
