Chemical Refugee have released the video for their single “Therapy Song“.
“Therapy Song” was written while the band lived in Syndney, Australia’s red light district. Staying in hotels mostly used by escort services, the band channeled this atmosphere and its energy into their new project.
“Therapy Song” is the first single.
Distorted vocals create an aura of dissonance around a wall of frequencies which are driven home by the gut-wrenching groove. Sprinkled with just the right amount of acoustic guitar and nicely placed soaring electric tones, “Therapy Song” is a walk through the darker side of Sydney’s streets.
