ButchQueen & the Bad Habits unleash an adrenaline-infused, fist pumpin’ barrage of punk, ska and in-your-face, gut-wrenching frequencies on their forthcoming album Bare Grits.
An immensely energetic outfit of music misfits, ButchQueen & the Bad Habits throw their fists up to the status quo aiming their onslaught of rock and roll directly for societal norms and unquestioned expectations.
Bare Grits is set for a May 5th (2018) release but trust me when I say this is the perfect album for those of us who enjoy old school punk and ska with a new school, refreshing upgrade. You can get a taste of the sonic madness by watching the video for the title track.
The last track, Whole World Is Watching Me Blues, is a classic guitar soaring, gritty, foot stompin’ blues jam which, in my opinion, is the ultimate icing on this EP.
The album was recorded at Electric Media Group, produced by Kenny Evans and mastered by Gerry King. The band has built a buzz and following by playing house parties, traditional venues and festival throughout Florida and the East Coast. In 2017 at the Orlando Fringe Festival, the band produced a punk rock opera.
The band includes creative talents: Fredi X (vocals), Skeebo (bass guitar), Hell Nada (lead guitar), Nolan Nada (vocals/guitar) and Vicious D. Licious (drums).
