Brett Randell grabbed his guitar, a backpack and a one-way ticket to Italy…that was 2012. Brett then spent the next 6 months traveling around the Mediterranean.
With no goal but to play music and meet all types of people, he worked on Italian vineyards, Turkish farms, hitchhiked across countries, and played music from rooftops in Istanbul to ancient streets in Croatia, seasides in Olympos to radio stations in Athens, pubs and houseboats in London and on and on.
These experiences resulted in Brett’s new EP, Rise.
Brett’s acoustic guitar and his powerful voice carry listeners through a sound bed of aurally pleasing and engaging instrumentation. Joining Randell on this record is Kim O’Hara on percussion and bass, Ryan Post on percussion, Caleb Polashek on violin, Mark Ford on cello and Daniel Herman on piano.
With three albums, multiple US and European tours, and hundreds of yoga events under his belt, Brett is just getting warmed up.
