Folk rocker and master song crafter Bombardier Jones has been rockin’ the Washington DC/Baltimore, Maryland music scene since the release of The King of Suck in 1996. In other words, Jones is no newbie to this music thing!
Although his PR company pitched a single hoping for spotlight on one song from the new album, I ended up listening to the entire album and am here to say that Dare To Hope is worthy of your attention; especially if you enjoy your roots rock music with an injection of fun and a rebellious attitude.
For those who might be curious, the single I was pitched is track 9, Take Your Time, which tones down the rambunctiousness just a tad but pumps up the pop and radio appeal to the max. With a rollin’, good ole country-esque aesthetic and some sweet sounding guitar, Take Your Time will not only have you hooked but will have you singing the hook long after the music ends.
