Let’s skip the introductions.
Bittersweet Machines (the solo project of singer/songwrter Matt Mocharnuk) has been gracing the pages of this platform for quite some time. The newest project, Disco Volante, has been unleashed for our listening pleasure.
Infectious, emotionally fueled hooks. Unforgettable lyrics. Inspiring, uplifting melodies. And excellent, masterfully executed song crafting are, once again, to be expected on every track of Disco Volante.
See, when the music just flows through you, it flows. I’ll let Bittersweet Machines explain further,
After releasing “The Stars and Ground” in November of 2019 (my 5th full length album in 7 years) I wanted to take a long break away from recording so of course it should surprise absolutely no one that I found myself back in the studio a few months later recording songs for “Disco Volante”.
When it flows, the flow can’t be stopped. Or maybe there’s just something in the water in Greensboro, North Carolina…? Regardless, despite wanting to take a break…Matt just couldn’t resist the urge to make more music.
If you enjoy top notch, arena-sized, pop-infused, alt-rockin’ jams, Disco Volante delivers all the way from the opening Seraphina through to the epic sonic swell of Winter Marches On to the lighter-sparking vibes of Battle Lines on down to the powerful, acoustic-driven finale The One That Got Away.
