Below is the Press Release directly from Richyln Marketing.
There is nothing like the feeling you get in the pit of your stomach, when a friend calls to tell you they have cancer. It has happened too many times lately in our office. Our good friend Chris Tapp, lead singer and guitars for the amazing band The Cold Stares, called us with just that message a few months ago. “Yes, it is cancer.” It was shocking and scary, and we felt helpless.
One small thing we can do right now to help Chris, his wife and two children is raise money for his medical bills, so a group of us put together a benefit show this Thursday night, August 16 at 3rd & Lindsley at 8:00 p.m.. We are having a silent auction, so if you have anything laying around your office you want to donate, please send me an email and I’ll pick it up from you. I hope you will consider coming out to this great night of music for an amazing cause. More details on the show follow below… You Rock! – Kate
Artists scheduled to appear include: Matthew Perryman Jones, Thad Cockrell, Erin McCarley, Jeremy Lister, Emily West, Mark Huff, Betsy Ulmer, Jason Eskridge, Jill Andrews, Maile Misajon and more…
All Proceeds will go to Chris Tapp, singer/guitarist for Nashville band the Cold Stares, who is currently undergoing a year of treatment for melanoma.
If you can’t make it to the show, donations may sent to:
