New England area musicians and songwriters Tracy Walton and Julia Autumn Ford were a powerful duo before even realizing they were a duo.
Sometimes an idea seems too simple so it takes a while for it to come to fruition. Simply put, two is often better than one. With Belle of the Fall it was as simple as an agreement of “All in.” The summer of 2015 was the right time for two forces to collide.”
After working on Julia’s solo album and touring the East Coast together, Tracy and Julia realized there was a winning combination right under their noses and Belle of the Fall was born.
Currently on tour in support of their album Earthbound, the duo will be relieved to know their music is touching people who haven’t seen them live yet.
With a simplistic, organic and very compelling folk sound, Belle of the Fall is nothing short of a delightful listening experience.
Considering Julia was a Connecticut Music Award Nominee for Best New Artist in 2014 and Song of the Year in 2015 and Tracy is a 2014 and 2015 New England Music Award nominee for Best Male Performer and has written for Alfred Books as well as teaching at the National Guitar Workshop, I don’t really need to brag about the caliber of talent we’re dealing with here.
Earthbound is now available in digital and physical formats. The group also has some cool merch so be sure to check that out as well.
