Pennsylvania raised, Nashville based singer/songwriter Alec Henderson decided to leave the acoustic guitar behind to create an experimental rock song titled You’re A Planet/Different Worlds.
Alec is an artist who holds strong to the DIY ethos we are very fond of here at MTM. A songwriter who typically creates songs focused on feeling alone, searching for love, and struggling with God, Alec produces his music and creates his own videos from the comfort of his Nashville apartment.
You’re A Planet/Different Worlds is a sweet tasting, hard rockin’, distorted guitar riffin’ ride as Alec explores what it’s like loving someone who feels like they’re living in a different world.
Head noddin’ rhythms, hard rockin’ progressions, and a really sweet solo towards the end all collide for Alec Henderson’s awesome first song without an acoustic guitar.
You’re A Planet/Different Worlds is available on Soundcloud or you can listen below.

I don’t think I have emphasized enough how rad the guitar solo at the end is… It really rocks and it’s also the starting point Alec used when creating this song. In Alec’s words,
I recorded a one-take guitar solo at the end and then built a jam around it. Just trying to keep things interesting for myself.”
