Adam Winn is a local favorite among the community of Fort St. John, British Columbia where he has been sharing his music to supportive audiences and has also served as a firefighter for the past 9 years.
With a smooth, soothing voice and his acoustic guitar, Adam manages to evoke emotions with sweet melodies and relatable stories that capture the essence of what it is to be and feel human.
At the surface Adam Winn might appear to be just another folk singer/songwriter but pay closer attention and one will notice his self-taught approach is driven by a deeper source of musical knowledge thanks to Adam’s classical training.
Initially exploring his love of music with a bass guitar at age 11, Adam began studying classical voice by age 16. Once through college and with encouragement from his circle of friends, Adam Winn fully embraced the art of storytelling with organic, roots music as his foundation.
The Adam Winn EP consists of five very strong, solid songs that will compel the listener to feel potent emotions as we are pulled into stories exploring the nuances of love and relationships, the human experience, and all the things that go along with living in this world.
This EP was crowd-funded and recorded over a two month period earlier this year (2017) and features the talents of drummer Dave Tolley. Winn self-produced the EP.
